Scholarship Opportunities
Historically our approach has always been to work very hard at keeping the cost low so that the program can be accessible to all. However, we have also been very fortunate to have a few generous friends step forward recently to offer scholarship help to qualified students. Students are welcome to apply for these scholarships with the application that will be found at the bottom of this page.
Available Scholarships
The “Huber de la Croix” Scholarship ($5,000)
This full ride scholarship is available to a student with demonstrated need, and a proven history of employment and strong work ethic. The Huber de la Croix scholarship has been set up by friends who own a neighboring Chateau in France. Their hope is that it will provide a wonderful educational experience for a student who would otherwise not be able to participate. The scholarship covers the entire tuition.
The “Rural Youth Ministry” Scholarships ($1,000)
These scholarships are designed to support those who have, or plan to work in youth ministry. Preference given to those working in rural situations. Preference also given to students enrolled in a four year Bible college program of study. Additional interview may be required.
Need based Scholarships ($500+)
Certain students will come from situations where they have access to less financial resources that the other students. The directors of the LVSA know very personally what it’s like to have parents working in low paying ministry jobs, or to be in a family where one or both parents were not there to help out financially. As we’re able we would love to make the program accessible to you.
